Varsity: Off-Season Sports Strength and Speed Conditioning

Varsity is an off-season sports training program written to get your athletes stronger and faster while making them more resilient and resistant to injury.

This 12-week program builds strength, endurance, and explosiveness with barbells and dumbbells, MINIMIZING THE AMOUNT OF EQUIPMENT NEEDED at your gym facility, making it ideal for all schools no matter the composition of their equipment.

Each week offers 5 workouts, which alternates between strength and conditioning and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete.

Coaches time this program so that it ends when you are about to go into your in-season practices and training.

This Program is Perfect For:

Schools that need a top-tier strength and speed conditioning program, but may not have access to a large fitness equipment room.

Question: What sport is this program for?

Answer: We wrote this program with Football in mind, however, any coach that wants to build strength, endurance and speed in their athletes can use this.

Question: What is the philosophy behind the prescribed weights for each athletes? Should they be maxing out?

Answer: No. Each athlete should feel that the weights associated with the reps are tough but doable, as opposed to going as heavy so they can to maximize hypertrophy.

Question:

What’s the level of effort athletes should put forth on the conditioning days?

Answer: On conditioning days, athletes should be engaging in max effort to maximize endurance and explosiveness.

Question: Are there any special instructions for athletes on off-days?

Answer: The two off-days provide time for athletes to relax, play or recover, as needed.

Question: What equipment do I need to do the program?

Answer:

Answer: We wrote this program to minimize the amount of equipment needed, however, if you are missing something, we can suggest substitutions.

Question: When should I sign up?

Answer: This is a 12 week program and we have a 16 week grace period to use it. If you need more time, contact us.

Program Price: One-time fee of $300 for 4 month access so you can get your athletes ready for your season.
