Grant Peterson – Director of Programming

With 15 year's experience in writing programming and leveraging some of the most highly regarded certifications in the fitness industry, Grant oversees all Wodstar programming.

Similar to an Iron Chef who can mix up magnificent dishes from any list of ingredients, Grant can build a program for any group, combining his own flavor and style with the goals of his audience and structural limitations of the surrounding space.

We mention the secret to all of our programming is in the WOD (Workout of the Day), but Grant further employs his own 'secret sauce' to ensure every Wodstar program from our military, to our competitor, to our gymnastics, to our general daily program has the same consistency and feel, leaving our subscribers completely satisfied at the end of a workout.

Grant works with people of all levels of fitness from professional athletes, sports teams, bodybuilders/figure competitors, kids, rehabilitation patients, and individuals with health risks.

There are plenty of fitness instructors who can make you look good and help you lose weight, but its rare when someone can look at you and see where you are weak to help you reduce your chances of injury and get the most out of your workout.

He accomplishes this through in-person and athlete-submitted video analysis, where his NASM, ACE, and FMS Certifications allow him to assess individuals through their movements and identify strengths/weaknesses, tightness, over/under-active muscles and takes that data to create a progressive program to correct and help them achieve their fitness goals.

He can program for all equipment and apparatuses including all functional-based/plyometric tools/free motion/kinesis/nautilus equipment.

To that end, Grant not only writes custom programs to accommodate unique set ups and equipment, but also can consult with facility managers/owners to design or optimize spaces from basic and affordable to elaborate and expensive, helping maximized space and revenue goals.
