Set up for Clean Pulls
- Start with the feet hip-width apart and hands outside the shoulders with a hook grip.
Points of Performance for Clean Pulls
- Push the knees back as you stand violently opening the hips and following through into a shrug.
- Be sure to position the shoulders over the bar.
- As you stand, drive through the heels and violently open the hips, knees, ankles, and shrug the shoulders

- Use this progress to practice appropriate bar path, triple extension, timing, and breathing
