How to do a Kipping Handstand Push-Up to improve your performance in CrossFit WODS.

Set up for Kipping Handstand Push-Up

  • Start with hands outside the shoulders and feet against the wall.
  • Invert with the heels against a wall, arms locked out, body straight and rigid.

Points of Performance for Kipping Handstand Push-Up

  • Descend down to the ground breaking at the elbows and touch the head forward of the hands creating a triangle. As you do so break at the hip and knees.
  • Violently open the hip and knees then extend the arms pressing back up a full lockout with the arms overhead.
