A dynamic stretch is one in which the athlete is moving while stretching. Benefits of the dynamic stretch include:

  • Activating muscles you will use during your workout
  • Improving range of motion
  • Enhancing muscular performance and power

Set Up for the Straight Leg Bound Dynamic Stretch

  • Feet are hip width apart

Points of Performance for the Straight Leg Bound Dynamic Stretch

  • Drive arms each jump
  • Land softly each jump
  • Maintain little ground contact in between each jump
